Comments:
The Russell 2000 Ultrashort TWM (small cap stocks with high betas) and similar shorts (S&P 500, Nasdaq and DOW) were the definitive winners this week, with the financial sector (SKF) taking top honors. Not listed above because volume was just shy of 1M shares traded, the Ultrashort Oil & Gas (DUG) came in with a whopping 9% gain on Friday, 6% on the week. Since USO was hitting new highs this week and came in at a nearly 5% gain on the week, the roll-over of the OIH (and hence pop in DUG), could be a "tell" of things to come...namely oil rolling over.
