QID Trades 10-26-07

1,2. Gap Down (Nasdaq Up) due to MSFT earnings. MSFT traded up 12% at open. Tech was then summarily sold into this strength. Not an easy or obvious trade. Trend continued from 9:31am - 10:02am. Thereafter it became range bound or "stalled" for the rest of the morning.

3. Nasdaq continued to fall in very choppy hard to trade action from 11am-12noon. First short opportunity appeared at 12:25 confirming the trend that started at around noon.

4, 5. More shorting opportunities as Nasdaq rally in afternoon was in full swing.

6, 7. Small reversal rally followed by short as Nasdaq gained further steam into the close.
